Current Remains
Information from Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust (CPAT):
Evidence of workings remain as grassed-over shafts and spoil heaps near the summit of Halkyn Mountain. The old shafts cover the area immediately to the south of the Pentre Halkyn to Babell Road.
The cottages at SJ19657210 were probably mine-related, providing housing for workers at the mine.
